TRAINING INITIATIVES
In some sense, every single initiative of the Charles Simeon Trust could be considered training. While we certainly are committed to a variety of people--whether pastors or women Bible teachers, full-time ministers or students--the handling of God's Word is our singular focus. Everything we do is focused on this task of training. It is what we do.

Beyond the Workshops on Biblical Exposition, we presently have four major training initiatives:
Simeon Course The Simeon Course is an online training course for people who want to get better at studying and teaching God’s Word. It is completely delivered online and features a flexible format, a practical and hands-on approach, and 15 accomplished instructors. Simeon Model The Simeon Model is an ongoing residential training scheme in Chicago, Illinois. In partnership with Holy Trinity Church in Chicago and frequently gathering students from other churches, it is designed for people who are considering entering into full-time vocational teaching ministry. It can span up to six years and can take a student through candidacy, internship (including graduate education), and full-time residency in a church--all in a fully integrated way. Internship Starter Kit The Internship Starter Kit is a short introduction to how we have designed, improved, and all we have learned from our residential training scheme (Simeon Model). It is meant to be set of resources to help you get started with your training scheme. So, if you follow "Internship Starter Kit" on the menu, you will have access to the blueprints of the program and most of the administrative resources we have developed to implement it.
International Training Over the years, we have forged an important partnership with Leadership Resources International in order to take our training commitment outside of North America. This partnership involves a combination of their TNT training model and our Workshop model to equip pastors in several locations in Kenya and India.
